On 26th January, like schoolchildren all over India, our pupils at Project Mala celebrated Republic Day. (In India, Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950. It is one of three national holidays in India).

The children had prepared plays, songs, speeches and dances to display, and the entire school gathered to watch the show, together with parents, visitors and specially invited dignitaries.
